We care about the health and well-being of our students and their families. We invite you to explore the resources and services at the school and in the community that support students and families. 

Support Services

At the ELDC, we strive to support our students in many ways, including by providing:

• Health services from school nurses
• Mental health support from school psychologists
• Student services for a variety of needs

The school district also provides an overview of crisis resources for parents. 

Community Resources

• Barb Food Mart: provides free food to families in the DeKalb school district
• Family Service Agency: provides counseling and programs to people and families 
• Hope Haven: provides housing and meals to those in need
